Opemiti Ajayi Sue Mercy Aigbe, Linda Ikeji N500m Each For Defamation Of Character (Photos)

Mercy Aigbe's best friend, Opetimi Ajayi is reportedly suing she and Linda Ikej for N500m each for defaming her character. Recall that Linda Ikeji had published an exclusive article on her popular blog LIB, about Opetimi being the cause of the marital problems Nollywood Actress Mercy Aigbe was having with her husband Lanre Gentry, thereby dragging her name in the mud without any backing evidence; an act of crime as codified in the cyber-crime laws of Nigeria.

According to media publication outlet Naij, the complaints lawyers have demanded a retraction and public apologies from both Mercy Aigbe and Linda Ikeji in the media including their social platforms and also demanded a total sum of N500million naira each from the duo for damages.

Mercy Aigbe's publicist who spoke to Naij revealed that Mercy is not aware of the lawsuit. While Linda Ikeji on the other hand is yet to make a comment.
