Chelsea seals premier league title with hard fought victory over West brom (photos)

Chelsea have clinched the premier league title after a hard fought 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns, thanks to a Mitchy Bathsuayi's goal in the 82nd minutes of play.

After playing out a goalless draw in an uneventful first half, the tie seemed destined for a draw as the Baggies were happy to sit deep and attack the blues on the counter which almost paid off were it not for Antonio Conte's exceptional discission making skill.

He substituted Eden Hazard and Pedro to make way for Willian and Bathsuayi which paid dividends almost immediately as Bathsuayi flicked in an Azpilicueta low cross pass West Bromwich Albion's goalie Ben Foster, to give Chelsea a much deserved victory.

At the sound of the final whistle, Chelsea's head coach, Antonio Conte, couldn't hide his excitement as he was seen hugging and shaking the hands every Chelsea players and staffs in his usaul childlike manner but all the same it's a merited happiness for both Conte and his charge. Up blues!
