MAN SHOOTS TANKER OPERATOR DEAD FOR OBSTRUCTING HIS WAY OUT OF CARWASH

A man has been shot dead by a gunman at a car wash situated along Sam Ewang Estate, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. 

As indicated by an onlooker, the suspect had been furious that the driver the victim works with obstructed his way.

He said the attacker conveyed his Sienna car to the car wash, and on fruition of the wash, moved toward the man to search for the truck driver to remove the fuel tanker from where it was parked. 

The‎ trailer driver was said to have gone for a walk inside the region, when the occurrence happened. 

The suspect was said to have hauled out a firearm and shot the him at short proximity bringing about his instant death, before getting away with his car.

Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the order would initiate criminological examination concerning the murder.

"It is true, the Commissioner of Police has ordered that forensic investigation be carried out. He has also directed that homicide section of the state investigation and intelligence department should take over the case for proper investigation with the view of bringing the culprit to justice,” Mr. Oyeyemi stated.
