Legendary American rock 'n' roll singer Chuck Berry dies age 90
Legendary American rock 'n' roll singer Chuck Berry, has passed away at the age of 90. The guitarist was confirmed dead at about 1.26pm on Saturday by st Charles county police, who responded to an emergency call only to find the veteran singer down as all attempt taken by the police to resuscitate him proved furtile.
Chuck Berry was a force to reckon with in the music world during the '50s and 60s' when he released hit tracks such as "Johnny B. Goode," "Roll Over Beethoven," "Maybellene" etc.
Chuck was also a great guitarist as he was rated as the sixth greatest guitarist the world has ever seen by rolling stone magazine. In 1986 he became the first Rock and Roll star to be inducted into the hall of fame.
