Ghanaian Referee Joseph Lampty gets life ban for match fixing

Ghanaian Referee Joseph Lampty has been flogged with a life ban by world football governing body FIFA, after he was found guilty of match fixing. Joseph is alleged to have manipulated a 2018 world cup qualifying match between South Africa and Senegal, he awarded a dubious penalty to South Africa to aid them win the match that was heading towards a one all draw.
