Drake announced as best selling artiste for 2016

Canadian hip hop artiste Drake has emerged as the best selling musician for 2016, according to music industry giant IFPI the rapper beat the likes of Adele and CloudPlay to the number one spot. Drake's only song in 2016 one dance which features Kyla and Nigerian pop sensation Wizkid, was a record breaker.

Drake's album "view" sold over 4 million copies in the US alone, it became the first album to garner over 1 billion view on Apple, and his record breaking single one dance was played over one billion times on spotify, one dance also topped the billboard chart for 15 weeks on the spin, all this and more made Drake the best selling artiste of  2016.
