Chelsea Agrees £58m Deal With Real Madrid To Sign Alvaro Morata

Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Real Madrid's Spanish striker Alvaro Morato for a fee reported to be in the region of £60m. "The move is now subject to Morata agreeing personal terms and passing a medical" Chelsea said in a statement confirming the deal.

The 24 year old striker, who is in the United States with the rest of real madrid's first team squad is expected to travel to England to undergo a medical at Chelsea's Cobham training ground.

Morata scored 20 goals last season after rejoining Real from Juventus.
He won the La Liga and Champions League, but the majority of his appearances were as a substitute.
