It's confirmed! Brithish singer Adele earned a whooping £40m last year

British singer Adele, earned a record £40m throughout the course of last year making it the most successful year of her career so far. The £40m reportedly took her wealth to a whooping £125m making her the wealthiest British female pop star ever.

Adele’s wealth was estimated to be £85million last year, up from £50million the year before.

She is the 19th richest British musician and only solo female artist in the Music Millionaires list, which is topped by Sir Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell who are worth a combined £780m.

Adele, 28, who is currently in the middle of her 25 world tour and is expected to perform live at Wembley later this summer
