The Barcelona attacker is however probably not going to spend time in prison as a sentence under two years for non violent crime can be filled in as probation, as indicated by the Spanish law.

Messi's dad Jorge, whose sentence was lessened to 15 months, will be required to pay £1.3million. Jorge had asserted that he was told by a legal counsel that the practice was lawful.
