The six-man shortlist for the PFA Player of the year awar had been announced, with top players from the top six teams in the premier league doing battle for the award. Eden Hazard, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexis Sanchez, Harry Kane, Ngolo Kante, and Romelu Lukaku are all in contention for the prestigious prize.
